When his best friend, Rachel gets tired of him being alone, she places a personal ad on his behalf, hoping he can get the experience he seeks with another man.The ad doesn't seem to bring any responses that interest Greg, until he sees one from his neighbor, Jack. Being it's the only one that looks promising, he answers it. Jack feels he can give Greg what he is looking for, without any expectations. Things start out well, and the men grow to trust each other, but after some time, Jack fears what he and Greg want for the future may not be the same things.
This is a short and sweet m/m romance . Greg is looking for someone to show him "the ropes" more or less and Jack is willing to take that on. Neither of them really seems to have high expectations at first, but they end up with stronger feelings. I liked how Jack showed vulnerability to Greg when he opened up about his past and how Greg was able to comfort him. In a way the 2 were able to provide something the other was deeply needing.
As short as this is, it still has a good story and can be read in one sitting. I think it is a great first read for someone interested in the m/m romance genre because it's short and also not too heavy on the sex scenes.

Short, sweet contemporary m/m romance. Greg is a bi-sexual who has never had a m/m sexual relationship. When his best friend and roommate puts an ad in the local paper he gets more than he could have hoped for. Jack is gay and single and lives across the hall. When he discovers that Greg is looking for someone to introduce him to the pleasures of male loving he offers his services. As they grow closer they have to decide what they want and from whom.
I just loved this story! This is an incredibly sweet tale. I absolutely adored sexy sweet Jack and could totally believe Greg. I totally recommend.
Romantic with enough drama to keep it interesting - nice ending for all concerned - including the dog and kids I'm their future )
This was a short sweet romance with a couple of interesting guys. Wish it was a bit longer, or maybe I just wish for another installment, but in either case, I love a HEA ending.
What can I say about this one. Cute and sweet. I love the concept of using a personal ad and finding the person you want lives across the hall. Now that is some good writing!
This little M/M romance could certainly have used more pages and a less hurried characterization.
It remains fairly sweet and satisfying despite the typos (timber instead of timbre was kind of hilarious) and a general approach that is feminine and does not ring true/authentic to a gay male like me.
This is a good fast read. I like the whole concept of the plot. It was very unique.
I like the interaction between the two main characters Greg and Jack. I thought that their dialogues were very realistic. I liked how the words flowed freely on to the page.
I would recommend it to anyone because it is short and sweet.
A good short story. Keeping the cast to three people, gave the story an intimate feel to it. Good characters and sexy bits. The writing wasn't like a beautiful piece of art nor was it like something the cat dragged in. I hovered between three and four stars. There is more sex than talking but still they build trust and love somehow. That is the difficulty with writing short stories. How to make the emotional leap believable. This story doesn't quite make it. On the other hand, we are promised some hot and heavy scenes and the author delivers, big time!
