Princess Maple's parents made a deal with a Fairy after her brother Prince Redwood was born They would raise their daughter as equal to their son, or their castle would be surrounded by fire and everyone within it would fall under a sleeping curse. Will the dragons, whom Maple grew up slaying, be able to forgive the humans and help Maple rescue her family? This new story has its roots in the Grimm brother's "Briar Rose," or "Sleeping Beauty," but the princess never falls asleep or needs to be rescued. Instead, everyone she loves falls asleep, and she must rescue them. This book contains beautiful full color illustrations, and the text is uniquely handwritten. It is a good book to read aloud to your children.
